ASSUMPTION -- Carl Thomas "Tom" Adermann, 87, of Assumption died March 7, 2015 in Heritage Manor, Pana, IL.

Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption concelebrated by Father Nathan Goebel and Father Don Wolford.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption. Prayer services will begin at 7:30.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Assumption, with Full Military Honors by Assumption VFW Tacusah Post #6577.

Memorials may be given to Knights of Columbus of Assumption.

Tom was born January 6, 1928, in Ramsey, IL, the son of Carl C. and Mary (Marty) Adermann. He married Olga M. Potsick in Moweaqua August 16, 1958. She preceded him in death March 25, 2005.

Tom was a graduate of Assumption High School class of 1946. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Tom was a lifelong farmer.

Tom was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption and was a former church trustee, a position he served in for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as financial secretary for 40 years. Tom was also a member of VFW Post #6577 of Assumption and was on the Board of Directors for the Assumption Co-op Grain Elevator for 10 years.

Surviving are his daughters: Anna Marie Adermann of Assumption, IL and Veronica (David) Goebel of Mt. Zion, IL; grandchildren: Michael (Stephanie) Goebel of Champaign, IL, Father Nathan Goebel of Littleton,CO, Ashley (Mark) Harcharik of Hudson, IL, William Goebel of Overland Park, KS and Dalton Goebel of Mt. Zion, IL; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Rebekah and Sophia Goebel, Emma Grace and Kennedy Faith Harcharik (The girls all loved to visit "Great Papa with the cows".); sisters: Mary Joan Tirpak of Decatur, IL and Susan Lamb of Normal, IL.

Preceding him in death are his wife, parents and son Thomas.
