Kendall G. Talbott
Kendall G. Talbott, 84, of Purdy, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Red Rose Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cassville. Services were held Thursday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Springfield. A celebration of Life was held at First Christian Church, Purdy, also on Thursday.

He was born in Elk Point, S.D., on Jan. 11, 1930, the son of Charles Herbert Talbott and Leila Gardner Talbott. He joined the Air Force in 1949 and served stateside during the Korean War. He married Fannie Harkness on Dec. 4, 1953. He graduated from Minnesota Bible College in 1959 with the purpose in mind to start the LeMars Church of Christ in LeMars, Iowa. Kendall has been instrumental in starting and ministering to churches in the Midwest.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nellie Herbst; a brother, Keith (Sonny) Talbott; a son, Dan Talbott; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include: two brothers, Orrville, of Camdenton, and Lewis, of Minneapolis, Minn., a sister, Grace Brewer, of Elk Point, S.D., his wife, Fannie, of Purdy; daughters, Lissa and her husband, Steve Robertson, of Royse City, Texas, and Linda and her husband, Nathan Thomas, of Purdy; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Purdy.
