MANITO - Dorothea M. Hilst, 80.
801 Meadow Lane, died at 10:13 p.m.
Wednesday at Pekin Memorial Hos-
pital, where she had been a patient
since May 11.
Born Jan. 1, 1906, in Ashland, Wis.,
to Frederick and Emily Snider Ader-
man, she married Jacob P. Hilst in
Taylorville, and he survives.
A former Mackinaw resident for
30 years, she had lived at the Manito
address three weeks. She was a
member of Bethel Lutheran Church,
Morton, and its Martha Society.
She was a registered nurse, once
employed by Proctor Community
Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center
and Methodist Medical Center, all of
Peoria. She retired in 1961.
Other survivors are one son, Louis
Shaw of St. Louis; one stepgrand-
child; three stepgreat-grandchil-
dren; one brother, Carl Aderman
of Chenoa. One son, one grandson,
two brothers and five sisters
preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m.
today at Ludwig-Rohrschneider Mor-
tuary, Morton, and from 1 p.m.
Saturday until services at 2 at her
church. The Revs. Charles Simonson
and Robert Hagan will officiate and
burial will be in the Meadow Lawn
Cemetery, Manito.
Memoirials may be made to her
church.

Dorthea M. Hilst, 80, of 801 Meadow
Lane, who died Wednesday (May
28, 1986) at Perkin Memorial Hospi-
tal, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Bethel Lutheran Church, Morton,
the Rev. Charles Simonson and the
Rev. Robert Hagan officiating.
Burial will be in Meadow Lawn
Cemetery, Manito.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m.
at Ludwig-Rohrschneider
Mortuary, Morton, and one hour
before the funeral Saturday at the
church.
She was born Jan. 1, 1906, at
Ashland, Wis., the daughter of
Frederick and Emily Snider
Aderman. She married Jacob P.
Hilst at Taylorville. He survives.
Other survivors include a son,
Louis Shaw, St. Louis; one step-
grandchild; three stepgreat-grand-
children; and a brother, Carl,
Chenoa.
She was preceded in death by
one son, one grandson, two
brothers and five sisters.
She wasa former 30-year resi-
dent of Mackinaw.
She was a registered nurse at
